The tour for when you really like a challenge

With this route package you cross the Pyrenees twice. The first time via the incredibly beautiful mountainous coastal road where, strangely enough, there is never much traffic. And the second time back from France to Spain over the Col d’Ares, 30km of climbing with spectacular views. You will stay three times on the Costa Brava with the most special place being Cadaqués, hidden behind the Pyrenees. The other three nights are in the mountains, in beautiful hotels at special locations.

Highlights along the way

One of the highlights is Col d’Ares or Coll d’Ares is a mountain pass in the Pyrenees on the border between France and Spain. It connects Prats-de-Mollo in France with Molló in Catalonia, Spain. The ascent takes you to 1500 meters.

For the real fanatics you can turn off at Camprodon towards the Vallter 2000. A climb that, as the name suggests, takes you to 2000m. It is 22.5 kilometers long and covers 1209 vertical meters with an average gradient of 5.4%. You descend the same way that you came.

Choose the short or the long distance. There is a route for every level
